Ho Viet Dzung, M.D.


Dr. Ho Dzung earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He continued his training with a Surgical Internship at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, and an Anesthesiology Residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Dzung then went on to do a Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Buffalo/Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.  Dr. Dzung held many leadership positions throughout his residency as well as receiving several honors and rewards in regards to his leadership positions and research.

Board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Dzung has been practicing at the Innovative Pain Care Center since 2011. He is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, American Society of Anesthesiologists, New York State Society of Anesthesiologists and Medical Society of the State of New York. Dr. Dzung has written several articles published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals as well as receiving the  "Patient's Choice" Award for physicians  in 2012.

In addition, Dr. Dzung is an active researcher in the field of pain management. He has also made numerous presentations at medical conferences and meetings around the country. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Dzung enjoys spending time with his wife. He also spends his free time on photography, automobile restoration and maintenance, home remodeling and mountain biking.
